The Palm Beach Rotary Club has recently donated $1,000 to ShelterBox USA for a ShelterBox to be used to aid families in disaster areas like the Bahamas. ShelterBox volunteers went to the Bahamas immediately after Hurricane Dorian and are still aiding families there. A ShelterBox includes a rugged family tent and other lifesaving aid like tools, water filters, solar lights, blankets and child’s activity pack. ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity that provides emergency shelter and other lifesaving equipment to survivors of natural disaster. Sometimes when disaster strikes, we want to help, and do not always know the best way to get help quickly and efficiently. Partnering with ShelterBox is a safe way to ensure help gets where and when its needed.
