The School Busses of Central America

Huge shout out to our club members and especially Past President, Riccardo Boehm, for his recent grant, funding electric motors for the Ak’Tenamot school boats in Guatemala.

These boats are the “school busses” in Central America, without which dozens of children would not be able to attend school.

Each year the Rotary Club of Palm Beach joins forces with others around the world and visits this remote school off the river. Helping with building, speaking English or even just lending a hand can make an enormous difference in a child's life ... interested?
